Course Outline/Objectives
In this course, after analyzing the latest M&A activities in Japan and other countries, we will study M&A processes and procedures. Next we will learn about the key factors of success for M&A, and also about PMI (post merger integration) - an essential component of M&A activities. Students will view discussions with PE fund leaders, a sector that is becoming increasingly active these days. In addition, students will learn how to protect a company from a hostile takeover. Such comprehensive knowledge about M&A is essential for management leaders of the future.
