Course Outline/Objectives
How can a company be reconstructed? In this course, we look at the key management methods involved in restructuring. In the first half of the course students will engage with Mr. Yogo's examples of restructuring by looking at his experience with Hikari Tsushin Inc. and Kanebo Cosmetics Inc. Students will thus be able to appreciate reconstruction activities from the point of view of management executives. In the latter half of the course, students will study essential step-by-step management techniques for the reconstruction and reorganization of companies.
