Course Outline/Objectives
Statistical analysis is required in various business situations, including analysis of surveys, estimations on demand, six sigma and so on. In this course, we learn the basic methods of statistical analysis and master these methods to produce multivariate analysis. Firstly, students learn how to calculate basic statistics, how to decipher probability distribution and inferential statistics and about the systems used in multivariate analysis. In addition to this, correlation functions and regression analysis will be explained. Finally, students will study the major analytical methods for analyzing the relationship among variables. In each lecture, students will not only interpret the theory but they will also be offered practical Excel case studies so as to master analytical methods.
