Professional Background
Originally from Shanghai, Ms. Chang graduated from the Economics Department of the University of Osaka. She began her career in Citibank Japan Ltd., working as a financial advisor in the Individual Financial Planning Department. She established and headed operations for "CitiChinese", which offers financial services to Chinese investors living in Japan. Since February 2002 she has served in her current position as the Head of the Chinese Business Promotion Office for HSBC bank. The office provides financial advice to firms and financial corporations on doing business in China. In her current role, Ms. Chang is in charge of cross-border transactions, raising funds in China, exchange risk hedge funds and cash management. In addition to her native languages, Mandarin and Shanghainese, Ms. Chang is fluent in English, Japanese and French. She earned her MBA from Bond University in Australia.
