Professional Background

Mr. Ito graduated from Keio University's Department of Administrative Engineering and earned an MBA from the University of Chicago's Graduate School of Business. As a consultant at McKinsey and Company, Mr. Ito was engaged with management planning for UCC Ueshima Coffee Company. He was then promoted to Product Planning Director, and later became a partner in the firm. In the latter stages of his career, he became Representative Director of Schroder Ventures and President of the Japan branch of Bain & Company. Currently he is a professor at the Keio Graduate School of Media and Governance.
