Professional Background

Mr. Shimoi graduated from the University of Tokyo's Economics Department in 1995, and in 1997 entered the doctoral course for economic research at the university. Later he served as a researcher at the Centre for International Research on the Japanese Economy (CIRJE) and as a special researcher at the Japan Society for the Promotion of Science. Currently Mr. Shimoi is an associate professor at Tama University. In addition to this he is the author of "Master Macroeconomics Perfectly"(NIPPON HYORONSHA CO., LTD.) and "Mater Microeconomics Perfectly" (NIPPON HYORONSHA CO., LTD.)
