Professional Background

Mr. Masataka Ushiro, currently the Representative Director of Tokyo Management, lectures for the Kenichi Ohmae Graduate School of Business on Organization and Management. After graduating in law from the University of Tokyo, Mr. Ushiro began his career with Nippon Steel Corporation. He went on to join Harvard Business School. He later worked as a principal partner for McKinsey and Company, and as president of the Japan branch of Bain and Company. Nowadays, Mr. Ushiro's role in Tokyo Management focuses on structural issues, ranging from corporate strategy to operational challenges in a variety of industrial fields.
